New Tunesday – April 2, 2019

This week’s New Tunesday combines some a cappella newcomers with some groups long invested in the community. No matter how long they’ve been here, this new music sure is welcome.

Anthem Light

This band might not be full time a cappella, but they did a pretty stellar job with this cover.

Kevin Ross

The solo artist teamed up with Miss Jay DMV to make a tribute to the talents of Missy Elliot.

The AcaLumni Project

The a cappella group that doesn’t require leaving your home put out their latest collaboration from Peter Gabriel.

SomeSing Quartet

One of the trailblazing mixed quartets got together after four months to rival the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies with their tight harmonies.

Concrete

Caitlin Nelson took home Best Original Arrangement for this cover of the James Arthur tune. Check out their performance at Boston Harmony Sweepstakes.
